About Us
INSTITUTE of EARTHCARE EDUCATION AOTEAROA
Institute of Earthcare Education Aotearoa is a non-profit Charitable Trust committed to the ethics and practices of sustainability.
Its Trust Deed Objectives are:
1. To provide for and promote education in environmental awareness, sustainable land use and responsible resource management.
2. To promote a wholistic approach to education by teaching the principles and practices of co-operation, community participation and sustainable culture.
3. To promote, conduct and publish research and educational materials as part of a programme to educate in the above.
Our Trustees are a small group of experienced educators and practitioners in sustainable systems. The current Trustees all live in Golden Bay. They are: Robina McCurdy, Joanna Piekarski, John Massey. We co-opt colleagues to create teams, pertinent for each project.
Our Educational Methodology is:
